When evil assails to devour my flesh
My adversaries shall stumble and fall
Though an army encamp or war rise against me
Yet I will be confident!

One thing I ask for, one thing I seek
To live in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life to behold the beauty
The beauty of the Lord my God!

He will hide me in trouble, set me high

If my parents forsake me, the Lord will take me
