BLESSED BE GOD

BLESSED BE GOD
BLEST ARE YOU, LORD, GOD OF ALL CREATION
THANKS TO YOUR GOODNESS THIS BREAD WE OFFER
FRUIT OF THE EARTH, WORK OF OUR HANDS
IT WILL BECOME THE BREAD OF LIFE
BLESSED BE GOD
BLESSED BE GOD
BLESSED BE GOD FOREVER, AMEN
(REPEAT)
BLEST ARE YOU, LORD, GOD OF ALL CREATION
THANKS TO YOUR GOODNESS THIS WINE WE OFFER
FRUIT OF THE VINE, WORK OF OUR HANDS
IT WILL BECOME THE DRINK OF LIFE
BLESSED BE GOD
BLESSED BE GOD
BLESSED BE GOD FOREVER, AMEN
(REPEAT)

In some masses, I hear the priest singing the 3rd stanze this way:
BLEST ARE YOU, LORD, GOD OF ALL CREATION
THANKS TO YOUR GOODNESS THIS WINE WE OFFER
FRUIT OF THE VINE, WORK OF OUR HANDS
IT WILL BECOME THE CUP OF LIFE
===
rather than "..it will become the DRINK of life".
"Drink" sounds more appropriate, but I guess I just got used to "Cup of Life"...
May I know who composed this song please?
