O Lord , I’m not worthy

12/05/2009

O Lord , I’m not worthy
Yet you come to live in me.
So speak your word of comfort,
By your touch strengthen and heal me.

Take this and eat my body.
And drink my saving blood,
Poured out for your redemption;
A symbol of my love.

Called to be God’s new people,
Made one in Christ the Lord,
Let us with hearts united
Bear witness of your love.

Hi Lionel,

I'm impressed by the number of hymns both Konkani and English on your website. You have quite a collection here, my friend. I have a humble request for you, I'm looking for the lyrics of this offertory hymn called 'Mhoje Hat Ghe, Mhoje paim ghe' ... I was told it is a wedding favourite in Goa (need it for my own wedding). If it's possible for you to procure this hymn for me I would be very grateful. My email address is peps75r@gmail.com.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Regards

Sofia

Dear Sofia R
I see you like, "O Lord I am not worthy," I sang in the church choir 70 years ago. I still remember the many hymns.

"Take this and eat my body.
And drink my saving blood"

Which sick religion performs such barbaric rituals? Oh yeah, Christianity. Then carry on...
